Finatrades Launches Three Products to Close Trade Finance Gap
Swiss fintech Finatrades Finance SA unveils FINABRIDGE, FINASWAP, and RPAY to tackle the $2.5 trillion global trade financing shortfall.
Swiss-based financial technology firm Finatrades Finance SA has introduced three new products — FINABRIDGE, FINASWAP, and RPAY — aimed at addressing a $2.5 trillion global trade financing gap that continues to constrain businesses operating across international borders.
FINABRIDGE is designed to provide flexible import and export financing options for companies that struggle to secure conventional trade credit. The product targets businesses that need structured support to move goods across borders without tying up working capital or relying solely on traditional bank lending.

FINASWAP expands the firm's cross-border payments capability, offering an alternative mechanism for settling international transactions. The launch positions Finatrades — headquartered in Geneva — within a growing segment of fintech firms seeking to fill financing voids left by risk-averse traditional lenders. The $2.5 trillion global trade finance gap, a figure widely cited by multilateral development institutions, reflects the volume of trade finance applications that go unmet each year, disproportionately affecting small and mid-sized enterprises in emerging markets.
